As a Ranger for a nature reserve, you are tasked to investigate reports of illegal camping within the forest, unaware that a powerful beast has now claimed the territory you are setting foot in and seeks to devour any trespassers. You must attempt to escape with your life...

The game is around the 9 minute mark! This was well done! Love the scares, the having to know when to hide and stop moving is really fun! Sad I accidentally exited out of the game! Probably gonna try again and beat it! Overall it was fun and a great experience! Good job!

Thanks heaps! The monster is a character I’ve wanted to bring to life for such a long time, so I’m glad you like it. I tried to put in a bit of extra effort for the design and animations to make it unique.

Game was really nice and an interesting choice on the monster. I kinda wish the trees you can hide behind were a bit more obvious. But besides that, nice game

Thanks for the feedback! Art style, presentation and audience/audio were my main focus of this game, so I’m glad I at least hit that somewhat. I mainly wanted to see if I could create a cool little atmosphere, at least for my first game. I’ll definitely take all you said on board if I choose to expand on this story. Thanks again. :)

Quite a nice little game :) It felt quite spooky indeed! I only had two questions, maybe stupid:
Was it possible to close the game without task manager and can you actually hide behind trees?
Thank you! :) I actually forgot about an exit function, I've just been using alt-f4. I'll add that in the next patch, probably just by pressing esc. And no, the main idea is to simply block line of sight. I might change the wording of that hint to be more clear.
